By the time Nicole was nineteen years old, her father’s busy political career left her in charge of the hotel kitchen. When she later left that world to become a performance artist (while raising two sons and straddling two continents), her passion for food and art and craft remained intact and carried over into her performances which often include cooking and serving food, along with song, painting, films and even yoga!
Nicole combines a wealth of professional and personal expertise, a playful artistic sensibility and an in-depth knowledge of the history and ecology of food, collected from many years of research and travels.
